We made the decision to setup Lakeland Outbound as supporting young people on their journey though the care system is something extremely close to our hearts and a large part our very own life story. Placements like this gave us lifelong memories and we wanted the chance to give back to the system and help and support young people to also have memories that can last a lifetime. 

Our whole Team takes immense pride in the job we do and the fantastic outdoor, high activity-based opportunities we can offer the young individuals who are given the chance to have a break away with us. 

All members of staff are dressed in everyday clothing and staff badges are never on display in public places, to ensure our individuals blend in meaning they do not feel uncomfortable and to ensure normality is achieved.

We have put a lot of time and consideration into selecting the areas we use for our provisions and from a safety side, it gives us great comfort that ours have full 24hour security teams and defibrillators onsite for a complete piece of mind.
